Silicon equivalency numerically exp

Silicon equivalency numerically expresses the amount of all alloying elements from Al–Si melt through the equivalent amount of silicon. Based on the presented results, this equivalency method is greatly accurate, simple for application, user-friendly and does not require any additional costs. At the same time, this method is limited by the accuracy of available binary (or even ternary) phase diagram.
