By implementing mind mapping with theproper model developed, the students’ abilityin writing a descriptive text improves. It isindicated by the improvements: (1) theimprovement of the percentage of the studentsachieving the score greater than or equal to 65 inCycle I, II and III (Figure 1), and (2) theimprovement of the percentage of the students’involvement in the writing activities during theimplementation of mind mapping in the teachingand learning process in Cycle I, II, and III (Figure2). The success of this study is in Cycle III. So, itneeds long time to succeed in this study.
