Letting go of wanting to change what you are feeling in the NOW is the key to achieving serenity when you’ve been finding it difficult to let go of specific feelings or beliefs, or when you have any indecision about releasing. When we feel hesitant to let go, it’s often because we want to maintain control. This step can help us release our need for control. In Chapter 4, we explored different processes for letting go of resistance. This is another approach to that same sort of dilemma.
