The commencement date above refers to the start of classes. New students should plan to be in
Melbourne for the start of their orientation activities. Essential information will be provided at these
sessions and attendance may be compulsory. For further details about the orientation activities of your

This is an offer for the Master of Engineering (Chemical with Business). The estimated course length
is 2 years, depending on subject availability. Course planning will be provided during Orientation.

Attendance at Orientation is compulsory for all Melbourne School of Engineering students. Orientation
begins the week prior to the start of semester. Further information about Orientation week can be

Orientation then you will be considered a late arrival and must seek approval from the Engineering and
IT Student Centre. Please email [e-mail] advising of your likely arrival date

not able to enrol in your subjects by the Friday prior to the start of semester then you will need to defer
