Benchmarks is a multirater feedback instrument used to measure managerial strengths and weaknesses (Lombardo & McCauley, 1994; McCauley, Lombardo, & Usher, 1989). Benchmarks contains several sections, including a section called Managerial Skills and Perspectives comprising 16 scales which were included in this study (see Appendix). All items use a 5- point Likert-type scale ranging from 1 (not at all) to 5 (to a very great extent)
