The booking in and inventory system

The booking in and inventory system is electronic “U8” system . Each part has an inventory stock
level and associated location. Movemet from IQC and goods in once inspected is via this electronic
system managed by the PMC planning group. FIFO is managed via the U8 system, also by the PMC department.
Materials are moved to the line according to the production line and the BOM,
arranged by the planning manager and the PMC group.
General system robustness, documentation and execution are worthy of a 2 but warehouse and
quarantine housekeeping standards and security must improve to move the score past 1.
