My name is ...., I am an independent assessment consultant for the Fred Hollows Foundation's (FHF) "Early Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy" program. The purpose of this interview is to better understand, from the perspective of you who is the participant in the project. as well as to listen to your sharing about the effectiveness of the project and what activities are well done and what challenges are present in the process of participating in the project.Your participation in this assessment is of course completely voluntary. To ensure that I capture your answers correctly when analyzing interviews, I would like to take notes/record this interview.Do you agree to have this interview recorded?Information about the interviewees1. Detailed description.?Evaluate the effectiveness of the projectTraining - capacity enhancing: (Imaging techniques at the bottom of the eye, Retinal imaging for doctors/ nurses; Classification of diabetic retinopathy for doctors; Intensive diabetic retinopathy treatment techniques for ophthalmthalm gynecologist and gynecologist.)4. Have you participated in training courses to improve the capacity and knowledge of the project? About what, Where? What time? How to evaluate the content and methods of such training (Opportunities for practice, exposure to new techniques)? How has the knowledge you learned helped in the process of participating in the project and implementing eye care for the people? Would you like further training/training on what else?5. Are you involved in the training process for the lower glands? If so, what specifically? Performance reviews?6. What are the strengths, weaknesses and needs to be done so that the training courses achieve good results as well as can help you feel confident in the treatment of bright eyes for people with diabetes and retinopathy with diabetes? Screening and Monitoring and patient management: 7. How are you involved in the screening process for diabetic retinopathy? Examples of some screening activities with the time, place participated?8. Is screening necessarily district and provincial eye doctors? Pros and cons if Nursing, technicians participate in screening prices? How effective is it to have the participation of doctors?9. How is the transfer mechanism regulated? Is there a written instruction? Will patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) be immediately transferred to the Eye or upline department after detection? How does the process work? 10. How is the process of supporting commune health workers in their activities in the primary health care route (blood pressure measurement, blood glucose control, and community monitoring; transferring patients to eye examinations at district hospitals)? What are the advantages and barriers when the parties coordinate to implement?11. Currently, how many patients with diabetic retinopathy are screened and detected on average, compared to before 2019? 12. Does your unit have a monitoring and management system? Managed by whom/which department? Effective when applying the project model compared to the previous13. Can you manage the number of people or % of patients accessing eye care/treatment of the total number of patients transferred by you? If so, how? Have you received patient information from the upline or from the eye department?14. What are the advantages and difficulties and how to better examine, treat, monitor and manage patients?
