Received my Patagonia Sweater jacket two days after ordering which was way ahead of schedule even with standard shipping. I ordered an XL which is my size in all jackets, shirts and coats. Other reviewers said theirs was too big and advised to order a smaller size than usual. I found this to be a snug fit on me around the waist. Unless your figure is like an MMA fighter, I recommend you go with your usual size or maybe larger. I am 6 foot and weigh 220 pounds and this is a bit snug around the waist. The sleeves are a bit long on this XL so a larger size may have the sleeves really long. I do like the quality and warmth of it though. The jacket is very light weight but very warm. I wore it outside for about 10 minutes today with a temperature of 28 degrees, a 10 MPH wind and wind chill of 17 and I was not uncomfortable. It is not designed for that temperatures but it should be great for layering, such as under a rain jacket.This should be very good on days in the 40s when there is a slight chill. I ordered a pale khaki color but it is darker and closer to a true khaki if that is of great importance. The zipper goes all the way through the lined collar and is very comfortable when zipped all the way. There are two zipped outside pockets and a zipped chest pocket which are quite roomy. There is also an inside pocket near the waist. Surprising warmth but size is a bit small when compared to a Columbia, LL Bean and Lands End products.
