I’d like to apply for three-day’s leave of absence, starting from the 13th and finishing on the 15th, in order to return home to see my father, who is now seriously ill.
I should be very much obliged if you will grant me the leave. As regards the duties to be missed during my absence, I will do my best to make them up as soon as I get back.
