Topic Introduction Although slavery should have been ended a couple of centuries ago, there’s a new type of modern slavery, according to the International Labour Organization(ILO), that has generated over 150 billion annually - Human Trafficking. The intensity of globalization provides the momentum for modern human trafficking. Due to the fact that traveling from one place to another has become a lot more convenient than before, the incentives for people to cross the border illegally or engage in the illegal labor market become higher and higher.
