I used to be able to use the Galler

I used to be able to use the Gallery app to tap into my Albums. Since my tablet has been repaired when I click on gallery then Albums it says No Files. I am having to use File Manager to get into my Pictures which are on my SD card but want to use the gallery app to access my Albums. How can I get the gallery app to work as it did before my tablet was repaired.
