Parts arrived, thanks and they look very good. They have been successfully fitted to compressor and engine. We fitted a few of them in production area as a trial and they all fitted This is a significant milestone successfully completed, photos attached. A discussion point is the larger hole made it easier to fit but not as smooth as current, we should be able to find a manufacturing solution for the anticipated smaller holes. The compressor hangs off the engine during operation, via the flange. The increased accuracy and stiffness of the flange prevents compressor bearing damage and prevents damage to the seal. There are a few steps remaining to sucessful completion of this long project, but great to get the parts and sucesfully fit them. In spec parts are needed now in Galway and modified drawing released. Plan is to complete remaining steps to fully, thoughly validate the design, and prepare for PPAP approval, ramp up production plans are needed.
