Treble HaegeumIn order to produce a treble effect, treble haegeum uses a smaller resonator body with a smaller ipjuk and thin silk thread. High-pitched tones have a clear sound due to this construction, but because the strings are thin, its volume is weak in contrast to pitch made by traditional strings. The pieces that use treble haegeum include "Cheongmyeong", composed by Kim Yeong-jae.
