Suzuki commences production and sales of Ertiga in Myanmar
On July 29, Suzuki Motor Corporation’s subsidiary, Suzuki (Myanmar) Motor Co., Ltd. (SSMC) announced the start of production for the Ertiga compact MPV. They will be released from the end of July at Suzuki dealerships in Myanmar.
Myanmar follows India and Indonesia as the third Asian country to produce the Suzuki Ertiga.
As part of its lineup expansion to increase production and sales of automobiles in Myanmar, SMMC will produce the Ertiga at its South Dagon plant in Yangon. Suzuki plans to produce 100 units of the Ertiga each month.
The Ertiga is a compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that offers three rows of seating for seven passengers. It features a modern design with a spacious interior and comfort, while offering great handling for narrow roads and parking spaces due to its minimum turning radius of 5.2m.
The Ertiga’s 1.4-liter engine combines exceptional driving performance and fuel efficiency for a smooth ride.
