The supplier states that through Data Lake, banks can store and process data at a lower cost than through in-house data lakes. It supports multiple database and processing platforms and offers analytics functionalities combined with Temenos core banking services. The platform allows banks to meet their strategic digital banking priorities like establishing a real-time 360 customer view, using micro-segmentation to map products and services to appropriate customers and interacting with them in real time to drive revenue growth.

Max Chuard, Chief Executive Officer, Temenos, said: “Many banks are attempting to build data lakes to support their digital banking and regulatory and compliance initiatives. However, the cost and risk of development and integration are very high. Temenos Data Lake provides a productized, banking-specific, solution which is embedded into the cloud-native, cloud-agnostic Temenos Infinity and Temenos T24 Transact products and it also successfully integrates with third-party core banking products. This dramatically accelerates delivery and lowers costs.”

The platform is a part of the Temenos Analytics product and is embedded into Temenos Infinity and T24 Transact. The platform aims to alleviate expensive data integration with a reduction in risk and compliance costs.

“By combining Temenos’ 25 years of innovation building world-class packaged banking software with the latest advancements in big data and analytics, we provide banks with the foundational technologies to help them realize the power of data, analytics, and AI to transform their business,” he added.

Recently, Temenos acquired the Bangalore-based hTrunk in order to accelerate its data and analytics strategy.
