A BLESSED MAE NIYOM AMULET by Ajarn Verathep. Received an extra personal blessing on 9/9/15.
This is an old issue by Ajarn Verathep and is an amulet dedicated and evoking Mae Niyom. Be it for love, commerce, lottery or convincing speech the Mae Niyom amulet is a powerful Wicha that oozes Metta Mahaniyom, attracting friends, cuystomers, lovers, and offers of all kinds. Wealth, love, luck and success is the formula of this Spell from Master Sorceror Ajarn Verathep and he has made a strong one with this. The two amulets here are quite different although from the same first batch. The red one has beautiful Yant geometry to the rear, which surrounds a cremation ship and brass Takrut. The Green amulet has a Takrut, a sliver of Takien wood for controlling the spirit and a cremation chip. Both are superb and this amulet is now rare to find, with just a few left at Ajarn's Samnak.
This amulet measures 2.5", so is quite chunky.
Since this initial listing I have done some research on Mae Niyom and have also found her!!! She resides in a case in a temple in Bangkok and has quite powerful presence, see her photo's above. Here's her story.
Mae Niyom died from diarrhoea at the age of 17 during the second World War but her family was not ready for her funeral and they asked the undertaker to keep her body during those terrible times. Five years later the temple decided to clear the unclaimed bodies and found her to be mummified rather than having suffered decomposition, which is highly auspicious and normally only occurs with high monks. The Abbot and the Temple Committee thought that she must have been born with great virtue and decided to dress her in white and put her in the corner of the temple grounds. People flocked to her as they believed that she embodied Maha Niyom (the bestowing of Great Popularity) and she was also found to be good with granting lottery wins for her worshippers. As her fame spread the shrine was built for her and she still stands to this day.
So Mae Niyom is Mother Popularity, something quite unusual in the range of attributes that spirits or deities normally bestow on their followers.
