Dragon’s Beard Cotton CandyYou can eat it as is or use it to decorate your ice cream cones!Ingredients:1000g rock candy (flavor of your choice!)100g of corn syrup2 cups of water1 tsp vinegarcornstarchTools:potheat sourcecandy thermometerdonut silicone baking moldInstructions:1. Separate all of the rock candy crystals from the stick.2. Add all of the crystals to a large pot.3. Add 1000g of sugar, 100g of corn syrup, 2 cups of water, and 1 tsp of vinegar.4. Heat everything to 271°F/133°C until it comes to a boil.5. Let the mixture sit for 30 seconds before pouring.6. Pour the cooled mixture into a donut-shaped silicone mold.7. Let the molds cool until solid.8. Remove a donut from the mold and coat it in cornstarch.9. Gently work the candy and pull it as you move it in a circular motion so it begins to stretch out.10. Twist the candy into a figure 8 and repeat step 9.11. Repeat steps 9 & 10 for a total of 16 pulls. This will separate your candy into 65,536 strands. When your candy has reached a consistency similar to hair, you’re done!
