Once the adoption has been permitted, the stage of living becomes valid (Article 46 of the ECA),which is an adjustment period that aims to gradually construct bonds of affection between the adoptee, their parents and the other family members, in order to check the existence or otherwise of conflicts between the parties involved. This stage must be monitored and evaluated by a multidisciplinary team of the Judiciary. Caíno (2007) says that it is through this stage of coexistence that the willingness to adopt and to be adopted is consolidated, because the interaction between the adopting family and the adoptee favors the creation and strengthening of the ties of affinity and affection. It is clear, given the above, that an adoption process is permeated with psychological aspects on the part of everyone involved. Several feelings are present.
