7-19. Contamination by permeation
Prepare square test pieces 140 mm on one side and set the test piece to the holder of the
contamination reproduction apparatus shown in Fig.-11 so that the back side of the lining to
be on the negative pressure side without leakage. Burn a Xylene lamp for 5 minutes so that a
fine differential manometer always indicates 9.8Pa by adjusting a variable resistor. The test
procedure shall conform to the table-21. Check the test results based on the criteria shown
in the table-17. The criteria of the product’s quality shall conform to the master sample.
