Think back to 2014. 3D printing was all the ragein our supposedly adjacent world of laser andinkjet output, which in strangely relativistic termswas being called “2D printing.” Over the nextyear or two, MFP vendors in the US and elsewhererushed to announce reseller deals with3D printer makers. And MFP vendors like HP,Canon, Ricoh, Sindoh and Olivetti — and eventiny YSoft — previewed, promised or promotedan array of homegrown 3D print devices, fromhigh-end to low-end. But fast forward just fiveyears, and oh how things have changed.
