Two sub-teams work in separate rooms to produce interdependent elements of a single product. As all contact between the sub-teams has to take place outside the production areas initiating and maintaining effective communication between the teams is vital.

The task takes 35 minutes to complete. Developing the learning takes a further 45 - 60 minutes and then links need to be made between the learning and its implications with work place issues. Total time: 1.5- 2.0 hours.
