We understand the significance of managing our business carefully and
responsibly, which is why we have adopted our business principles to govern our
activities and interactions with all our stakeholders across the world, including our suppliers.
Our business principles declare a commitment to promote the application of our business principles
by our business partners and suppliers. Our Code of Ethical Purchasing (the code) is to be read in
conjunction with our business principles, and is designed to promote safe and fair working conditions,
and the responsible management of environmental and social issues in Pan-pacific's supply chain. The code
has been developed in consultation with employees, suppliers, investors and non-governmental organisations. It sets out the standards we wish to see achieved by us and our suppliers over time. The principle of continuous improvement applies to all aspects of the code. We know it’s important that our partners and suppliers understand and respect our commitment to maintaining an ethical supply chain and work with us to manage our environmental and social impact. To minimise our supply chain risks, we have established a supplier assessment process. All new key suppliers are assessed against our six pillars of supplier performance management which include corporate responsibility.
