In this paper a test bed for a 1:10 scaled railway vehicle car body is described, which has been built to investigate different concepts to suppress structural vibrations by
active damping.
In contrast to pure measurement applications the implementation of closed loop control schemes requires both actuators with suitable amplifiers and a fast and versatile realization of the control unit.
