Therefore, EBSD analysis of shear deformation region was performed using EBSD which can analyze crystal phase distribution from crystal orientation analysis of materials. Fig. 3 shows the phase map of each material. In the Figure, the red-color-area shows where austenitic phase (γ phase) is prevailing, while the green-color-area shows where ferritic phase (α phase) is prevailing.Here, it is noted that only by EBSD analysis we cannot distinguish the α phase from the so-called α'phase (strain-induced martensitic phase).
