BLMCP系統中對於建築物設備維護頻率及效率的顯著程度除基於「實際維護作業」作為基礎外，其中對建築物設備初始建立的使用壽命年及運轉效率作5Dth模擬評估，藉以確保維護效能的客觀估算與評量。本研究中採用電梯設備作為計算案例，除建立設備維護頻率與維護費用計算外對於設備更新期程維護，可推算到建築物預定壽命年所需維護作業費用。
