1. The QA/QC Inspection Records as submitted by the EPC Contractor covers the inspection record and Testing during the Erection and Commissioning of the Equipment. The QA/QC requirement for the manufacturing stages of the Equipment shall also be included.
2. The QA/QC Inspection Records as Submitted by the EPC Contractor is silent about the Non-Destructive Test (NDT) requirement for the site welded parts, Pressure vessels etc. The same needs to be included in the QA/QC Report.
3. The QA/QC of the painting of variousequipment from sand Blasting to Final coat of painting and protection of sliding & rolling surfaces are missing in the QA/QC Report as submitted by the EPC Contractor. The same should be included in the QA/QC Inspection Records.
4. The Tolerance/allowable value in dimension, elevation or clearances and Permissible Deviation as indicated in the QA/QC Inspection Records are deemed to be certified by the manufacturer of the equipment and shall no way affect the performanceof the Equipment. Workshop test of all fabricated finished equipment shall be included in the QA/QC Inspection Records.
5. Any Site acceptance tests, Functional test, pre-commissioning and Commissioning tests, Guaranteed Performance Test etc. which are not mentioned in the QA/QC Inspection Records but stipulated in the Employer’s Requirement or relevant Standard shall also be included and carried out by the EPC Contractor as per the instruction of the Engineer –In Charge.
6. The site test data shall include the results of tests of all gates and hosts in dry conditions as well as wet &full load conditions and shall be verified as a verification document.
7. Please refer the QA/QC Inspection Records as Submitted by the EPC Contractor, Part (E) – Hydro-Mechanical Auxiliary Equipment, Quality Inspection Record. . The same should also be supplemented in English version for understanding.
8. A specimen copy of QA/QC Format (Raw Materials Rubber Seals, Bought out items &Welding Process & Tests) is enclosed for reference. The similar way, may please be prepared for following items.
