I plan to further my studies in MEd

I plan to further my studies in MEd of Science and Environmental Education because this program could provide me with an alternative career track: either being a honorable teacher to give students lessons on science subjects or a professional personnel contributing to environmental sustainability. But this does not mean that I do not have a clear aim on what I want to do upon graduation. To the contrary, I certainly know which direction I want to develop to and what should I do to realize this goal. However, based upon my present knowledge accumulations, my weaknesses lies on deficient knowledge systems, and a close contact with international educational method. That’s the reason why I want to deepen into MEd of Science and Environmental Education in The Hong Kong Institute of Education. Obviously it can offer me with abilities I want to strengthen myself on.

First of all, MEd of Science and Environmental Education in The Hong Kong Institute of Education is a interdisciplinary program which aims to promote students acquiring knowledge in both Science and Environmental Studies, and Education of Science & Environment. Specialist courses, like Innovative and Technology-enhanced Science Teaching, Sustainable Campus Development and Education for Environmental Management and Pollution Control, are upgraded and deeper-level subjects compared with what I learnt in period of undergraduate, because it perfectly combines teaching with scientific subjects together, and can help me to develop my logical thinking habit.
