Based on the concept of train value equation of
the train circuit, the 2-stage planetary gear reducer
with Rr=19.8 and coupled type gear reducer with
Rr=-20 are synthesized. According to the latent
power theorem, the meshing efficiencies of 2-stage
planetary gear reducer and coupled type gear
reducer are analyzed to be 95.46% and 95.87%.
The meshing efficiency of coupled type gear reducer
is better than 2-stage planetary gear reducer. And,
both of them, the mechanical efficiencies are much
better than worm and worm gear reducer.
