大學畢業後，選擇在異地鹿港工作將近兩年半的時間，我主要參與團隊從事老屋修繕、歷史建築再活化專案執行、老屋民宿經營的工作，先後擔任管家與執行秘書職位，前者讓自己累積管理店務的能力，如接訂單、接待客人、打掃清潔、籌辦活動；後者則累積文案撰寫、活動籌辦、公部門窗口溝通能力。這兩年期間透過深入了解在地歷史紋理、常民生活文化，與地方形塑為一緊密連結的互助體系。起初因為想累積自身經驗，因此能接受原有的薪資及工時結構，然而自身已累積程度上的經驗，希望能恢復正常薪資水準，而原公司整體薪資水準並沒有因此調整，因此決定另尋工作。選擇返回家鄉工作，一部分原因也是受到鹿港青年影響，陸路續續有許多鹿港青年選擇留下來耕耘。會選擇川堂書店作為職涯考量，是因為也賦予了自己能盡全力深耕在地文化為己任，期許自己在多元的環境下不斷學習與累績，能與書店、社區一同成長。
