Stop by Stressbusters in Butler Library on Tuesday, December 13th from 6-10pm for a free back rub and to learn about healthy stress busting strategies.
Visit Disability Services Semi-Annual Study Break on Wednesday, December 14th from 4-6pm in Lerner Satow Room. We'll be serving snacks and beverages and our Learning Specialist will be serving up strategies for maximizing your time and study plans.
Join the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) for a Study Break on Thursday, December 15th from Noon-2pm in Lerner 569. Have some hot chocolate, snacks, a back rub from Stressbusters and chat with students and staff from SHAC.
Fight Flu: get the vaccine. If you missed the campus flu fairs it’s not too late. In addition to vaccine options at Medical Services you can find the vaccine through your health care provider and many area pharmacies.
Sleep. As the end of the term approaches, it often feels like there is less time for sleep. However, the time you “lose” to sleep you will regain in dividends with the increased efficiency and effectiveness of a well-rested body and mind.
Travel Safely. If you are planning a trip abroad, consider scheduling a travel medicine consultation with experts at Medical Services or at a Travel Medicine clinic. More information can be found at on the Health website.
As a reminder, all University-related travel must be registered online.
Ensure that you have printed your insurance card, or added the app to your phone, before traveling domestically and internationally. If you have Columbia student health insurance please visit the Aetna site for more information.
