Furthermore, meat from 1/2 or greater Bos indicus cattle is usually significantly less tender than meat from cattle with less than 1/2 Bos indicus . On the other hand, several breeds tend to produce meat that is more tender than meat from other breeds. But, on average, most breeds are fairly similar in meat tenderness.
