ZnCo2O4/ZnO/g-C3N4 composite was prepared with variation in the morphology in the single composite with urea as reducing agent were fabricated successfully for the first time on nickel foam through a facile hydrothermal process and an annealing process. The prepared electrodes had superior electrochemical performance with a specific capacitance of 2812 F/g and it was stored upto 44% at varying the scan rates in the range of 10 mV/s to 200 mV/s. This pseudo capacitive behaviour of the electrodes has a way to further improvement in the preparing the composite in varying the composition ratio and can be an efficient material in the application of supercapacitor.
