Changes from version 2.4.1 to 2.5.0 (Sims Version at time of release was PC Version 1.14.49.1020 / Mac Version 1.14.49.1220)
Changed maximum number of children per household setting to allow up to 50 instead of 20.
Created MC Appearance module. This module will have settings specific to changing Sim body-part sizing.
In the Sim MC Appearance menu, the physical characteristics (body, not face) can be copied and then pasted into another Sim so they have the same body characteristics.
The "Set Appearance By Template" Sim menu option will check the Sim's body characteristics and compare them against the template defined for their gender and age. If any of their body characteristics are out of the bounds specified in the templates, then it will be set to a random value within the template ranges for that body part.
The "Randomize Appearance By Template" Sim menu option will randomize every body part using the template ranges specified by the template for their gender and age.
The "Set Body Part Value" Sim menu option allows specifying an exact value for the body part specified. All values are from -100 to 100. -100 will make the body part the "smallest" it can be and 100 will make it the biggest.
The "Random Body Part Value" Sim menu option allows randomizing the value for the body part specified. A value between -100 and 100 will be placed into that body part's value.
In the computer MC Appearance settings menu, the "Apply Appearance Template..." setting allows an automatic validation for Sims against defined templates to occur. There are three choices for this setting. "Manual" is the default value and no automatic validations will occur. If this setting is used, then the "Set Appearance By Template" Sim menu option will be used to manually validate Sims. The "Age-Up" setting will validate a Sim when they age-up to a new age group. Any body-type values that are invalid for the new age will be rerolled at this point. This is the most efficient automatic validation as it only happens once when Sims age-up. The "Zone-in" setting will validate a Sim when they zone-into a lot. This is the least efficient automatic validation and should not be used long-term. It can be used initially to validate existing Sims when this module is first deployed. Note that if either "Age-up" or "Zone-in" are used, any homeless Sim created by EA's processes will automatically be validated upon creation as well. As an aside, for ages above Teenager each body-part that is changed for a template will attempt to scale-up or down so the appearance gradually changes as the Sim gets older rather than randomizing to what could be radically different appearances.
Moved the "Cleaner_MonitorPhysique", "Cleaner_MaleFitLimits", "Cleaner_MaleLeanLimits", "Cleaner_FemaleFitLimits", "Cleaner_FemaleLeanLimits" settings to the appearance module, so they are now named "Appearance_MonitorPhysique", "Appearance_MaleFitLimits", "Appearance_MaleLeanLimits", "Appearance_FemaleFitLimits", "Appearance_FemaleLeanLimits". The UI configuration for these settings are now in MC Appearance instead of MC Cleaner as well.
Added a "Define Appearance Template" menu option to the MC Appearance computer menu. This will allow setting low-and-high ranges for Sims ages Teen-through-Elder. Each template must be defined separately for each age-group and gender since that's the way EA applies them as Sims age-up. Then the "Apply Appearance Template" setting will determine when Sims' appearances are adjusted.
When using MC Appearance, Teenage Sims will show pregnancy with big bellies like Adult Sims do. Males show lesser than females do. For some reason I could not expand the male bellies to the extent I can expand female bellies...just do what I can!
Fixed a problem that caused Sims to get charged child support for children that had moved-on to the next plane of existence! Why should you not have to pay child support for ghost kids? I don't know but it's fixed! Thanks, t.barfield86!
