CuCrO2 was found to be conveniently prepared as a major phase at 180–220 ◦C over a periodof 42–65 h. For 160 and 180 ◦C, no CuCrO2 was found. In the same way, at 250 ◦C our synthesis did not yield the CuCrO2 compound.The synthesis duration and temperature were subsequently fixed at 60 h and 220 ◦C.
