Le négoce international est une activité commerciale assumé par un commerçant dont le métier consiste à acheter des produit à l'étranger pour les revendre en prenant une marge bénéficiaire.
On peut distinguer trois types de négoce international :

le négociant exportateur : Il achète un produit sur le territoire national pour le revendre à l'étranger;
le négociant importateur : il achète un produit à l'étranger pour le revendre sur le territoire national;
le négociant international : il achète un produit à l'étranger pour le revendre dans un autre pays étranger.
L'intérêt des services d'un négociant international est de permettre à ne entreprise de pratiquer l'import-export en évitant les risques et difficultés liés à ce type d'opération : logistique, douane, risque de paiement...
