To test the proposed hypotheses, data were gathered from a convenience sample of 57 construction project in the United States. These included projects in North Carolina (80.7%), Virginia (8.8%), South Carolina (5.3%), Georgia (1.8%), Florida (1.8%), and New York (1.8%). The participating projects included commercial (36.8%), infrastructure (19.3%), industrial (15.8%), residential (14%), educational (10.5%), and other project types (3.5%) with an average contract value exceeding $28 Million. At the time of the data collection, each of the projects were at least 15% complete.
