The competence and the performances

The competence and the performances of kind of suppliers identified at paragraph 1 shall be assessed by considering “evaluation parameters” and “evaluation methods” that are the same within the whole MTA Group.
Into each production unit of MTA Group that directly handles suppliers of products / materials and external working, it has identified an internal department (i.e. Purchasing Dept. , Supplier Quality Dept.) that is responsible for the monitoring and the periodic evaluation of the performance of its suppliers.
The function “Laboratory Quality Assurance” is in charge for the monitoring and the periodical evaluation of the suppliers for laboratory materials and services (evaluation both in terms of number of quality incidents caused by the supplier, both in terms of quality of service performed by the supplier in the business relationship with MTA). The qualifying of the suppliers of Laboratory is based on direct evaluation of the head of Laboratory Quality Assurance, only considering the indicators “QII” and “SPI”.
