Angels Protect. Both the revealed Word and human experience show that God uses angels to protect. The psalmist affrms this when he writes that “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him” (Psalm 34:7). The prophet Daniel reinforces the psalmist’s testimony when he recalls his experience in the den of lions (Daniel 6:1–27).
