Field Touch Up Painting

Paint shall be applied, after completion of erection and testing, to all damaged, scratched, or rusted areas of the tank which have received a shop coat of paint and were damaged during shipment or erection,to all exposed surfaces of bolts and nuts and to all field welds and surfaces left bare for field welding. Touch up paint shall be the same paint as was used in the shop.

Contractor shall be responsible for all damage to floors, walls, etc., caused by paint spots and shall clean off all such spots.
