本次设计项目是成都西河镇污水城市处理工艺设计。
本次设计综合考虑污水处理厂进水情况、处理效果要求、工程投资、运营管理等相关因素，综合该城镇污水的水质特点，为了满足该污水的脱氮除磷效果，本设计决定采用CASS工艺，并，以保证达到排放标准。
系统设计废水处理规模为日处理能力50000m3/d，设计处理后出水达到《城镇污水处理厂污染物排放标准》（GB18918-2002）一级A标准。在设计中将进行方案论证、各主要构筑物及附属建筑物的设计计算、设备的选型、工程经济估算、相关工程图纸的绘制等相关工作，最终完成本次设计。
