I literally screeched to a halt while meandering down this country road a few weeks back. I had just crested a hill and suddenly this amazing composition was just there. The sun was bright that day creating those lovely blue shadows across the snow and road and I knew I had to get some reference shots. It was somewhat dangerous to stand in the middle of the road on the blind side of this hill, but like so many back roads in Wisconsin, there was almost no traffic. My dad had just been telling me how much he likes February up north because the sun is high now enough in the sky to melt the snow off the roads. I should probably address the clouds, right? I had intended to make the clouds more cloudy, but I felt everything was just working. Too often I wish I would have stopped earlier, so I did! I hope you like it!
