An overview of the team’s collaboration is included in Appendix 1, providing a short summary of each meeting. In general, these meetings were characterised by two types of activities. In three of the five meetings, the coach asked the teachers to share their experiences while teaching a S&T lesson (cf. Issues, Challenges, and Triumphs in a round-robin, Metz (2008)). Each teacher was asked to formulate what he or she did, what happened and how pupils responded. The other team members were given an opportunity to comment or ask questions. Following this exchange of experiences, the teachers extensively discussed their ideas for integrating S&T education in the existing curriculum and how this could be aligned with their educational views.
