Your audio device can operate in Entertainment Mode, Game Mode or Audio Creation Mode, where they are available. Audio Creation Mode boasts the complete functionality of a studio-quality hardware mixer. Harnessing the full potential of your audio device, it handles sophisticated audio operations such as ASIO routing, volume control, stereo balancing, effect editing and processing, without taxing your computer processor.
To fully utilize the comprehensive functions offered in Audio Creation Mode, familiarize yourself thoroughly with the Audio Creation Mode console.

Notes
By default, the Audio Creation Mode console is launched when you switch to Audio Creation Mode. You can also manually launch the Audio Creation Mode console.
Ensure that your monitor is running at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels before launching the Audio Creation Mode console.
Before embarking on any project in Audio Creation Mode, make sure that the Master Sampling Rate (MSR) in the Settings dialog box matches that of any other program or digital equipment you are using. For more information, see Settings button.
Where only one mode is present, the Mode Switcher option will be made unavailable.
