Contractor fails to remedy such defects, shrinkage or faults within seven (7) days of the Employer’s Representative giving written notice of such defects, shrinkage or faults appearing, the Employer may proceed to do so at the risk and expense of the Contractor and without prejudice to such other rights as the Employer may have under the Contract. All costs incurred thereby by the Employer may be deducted by the Employer from any monies due or to become due to the Contractor or shall be recoverable from the Contractor by the Employer as a debt.
