Gathered together, these claims generate two conclusions: the unity of peace We hope to secure in the various communities we happen to inhabit will always be imperfect and this imperfection is an inescapable deliverance of our Vanity. No doubt, some measure of judgment united and love shared is equally inescapable, but, given the kind of creature that we are, perfect measures are unimaginable. Look around and more often than not we find human beings working to maintain this imperfect peace in spite of the differences and disagreements that divide them.
