LG reference pad has the similar behavior as our keyboard.
LG keyboard default will NOT add the new word to dictionary, it will also prompt to user for confirmation.
If we add the new word into dictionary directly without prompt, we have one concern about the following scenario: User might select the word from suggestion list. If user mis-touch the typo-word, it will add the typo-word into dictionary directly. It might confuse user.
