The two-symbol aided AAC models that were provided sometimes took the form of simple expansions (e.g. {more MORE} {milk MILK}, if the child said MILK); imitations ({more MORE}{milk MILK} if the child said MORE MILK); recasts (e.g. {more MORE}{milk MILK} if the child said WANT MILK); and models of the child’s actions (e.g. {more MORE} {milk MILK} if the child pointed to the carton of milk).
