An attractive late eighteenth century teacup and saucer, with vine leaf patterning, on a choice orange ground c.1790-95. This rare piece is from the popular and collectable New Hall factory Staffordshire. Of Bute shape - one of the earliest teacup shapes: it is simply a New Hall teabowl shape with an added loop handle. A good must have reference & display example.
