We are working on solutions:
#1: Labeling: It is easy to fix after the final package is ready. - NOTED
#2: CARB Label: We will ask the factory to apply CARB Label to it. – NOTED
#3: Flammability: We will ask the factory re-submit correct materials. – What material will this be? What did they submit?
#4: Stability of the unit:
Option 1: Add two labels: Maximum load on the drop down lid: 50lbs; “Caution” Label. USE THIS OPTIONS
Option 2: Increase the thickness of lower back panel or add weight on the lower back. This change will increase the cost/price. Jane/Jody will check with BV to verify if Option 1 can pass the testing.
#5 5lbs pull: Use better/smoother casters. NOTED
#6 Ottoman Tip Over: Use thicker bottom panel or add weight/concrete blocks on the bottom. This change will increase the cost/price. PLEASE CHECK TWO THINGS: 1) Is this test often overridden? I might be able to seek out an override from the buyers.
#7 Finger Entrapment: Use different door hinges to minimize the gap. NOTED
We will ask the factory to re-make the testing samples and will submit for re-testing.
