Re: drive current discrepancies.
We’re using a 1.5k current limiting resistor with a 3.3k shunt resistor in your typical drive resistor to LED (shunt resistor parallel with LED) setup.
We’re measuring 7.7mA for amber and 7.05mA and green.
This does not match up with our calculations. Our calculations show we should be getting 6.4mA-7.6mA for amber, and 5.5mA-6.5mA for green.
Please advise why there is difference? See below for how I’m calculating this.
